At High Camp
I heard that the team was safely entrenched at high camp for certain and that they will hopefully go for the top tomorrow, weather permitting. High camp is an unforgiving place when the weather is rough, but is stunningly beautiful when there is no wind. You can walk out to the edge of the camp and look down 3000 feet at Camp 3. It feels like being on the edge of the world as the lower Kahiltna sweeps away, 13,000 feet below!

Michael Stocklosa:
To tell you the truth, I haven't stopped thinking about you since you left but I will be praying for you and your team tonite and all day tomorrow. I'm all with what Mom has to say-- stay away from the edge! Amazing what you've accomplished but I always knew you've had the strength and courage in you. Rest easy tonite and push hard tomorrow. We're getting rough weather here so hopefully you have it smooth up there. Flash wanted me to tell you he misses you and something else- I'll tell you later. God be with you babe. I love you and take some awesome pics tomorrow! xoxo

Team: Keep on truckin'- your whole focus will pay off on the summit. Take care!
Charles Haller,
I was at work when I found out that you were at High Camp, that is terrific! When I checked the Talkeetna Air Taxi web cam the weather looked great. You of course have the most spectacular view and you have definitely earned it. Great job and God speed! I will be thinking of you at the summit. Stay safe. I love and miss you. GG

I said it before at Waterloo and I'll say it again now you're close to the summit: you're an inspiration! Good luck with the weather, take it safely and reach your goal.
You're in my thoughts and in my prayers, kochanie.
Good luck to everyone in the team - be safe and strong!

Denise and Paul,
Good Luck on the climb tomorrow. I hope the weather is fantastic. Listen, I know how you guys like adventure, but, try to stay with the group and don't run off ahead! We look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.

Hi again Ania - you should take your time as you go for the summit... there's really no hurry to get back as London's the same as usual for this time of year: it's raining, there are no Brits left in Wimbledon and there are terrorist bombs in Central London (made safe, thank God). Miss you lots, though Nx
