No News from the Summit

Hi Everyone,

I haven't heard anything from the team since the brief and cut-off message of their assisting with a rescue the other day. I hope I was clear: the HAPE victim was not a climber from this team.

I do have some disappointing news, however. Cheryl is currently descending from 14,200' camp with one of our guides, Roe. They are in traveling in the company of another Mountain Trip Guide and another guided team led by a friend of ours. This will enable them to have a bigger safety net as they travel the heavily crevassed lower Kahiltna Glacier.

Ania - I'm thinking of you. News of the ill climber and of one your team coming down makes it clear that this is a serious expedition. You and the team are in my prayers. Kocham cie!

Cheryl- you may not have summited but you did prove yourself as a strong woman. I believe you would have summited on Friday but there was another climber who needed help- and you were selfless. Be proud of how far you pushed yourself. Do not let this discourage any future attempts- things happen for a reason. God bless you.

Mike- I miss you alot. I can't wait to see you again. I talk about you everyday- everyone who knows about your venture wants updates. I see the weather isn't as friendly as I would've liked it to have been for you but you are superman- you can tough out the worst of situations. I believe in you and everything you are. Stay strong love. Take care.
love you,
Tiffany
